Therapy

Individual Psychological Therapy

I support people who are coping well on the outside, but feel stretched, depleted, or stuck on the inside.

High-functioning adults often carry responsibility, pressure, and expectation without a break. Work, family, and life demand constant attention and sometimes it’s hard to find the space to breathe.

As a registered Health Psychologist with 19 years’ experience in clinical settings, I offer a confidential, evidence-based space to help you:

  • Steady your mind and regulate stress

  • Build clarity and perspective on complex decisions

  • Strengthen coping strategies for everyday pressures

  • Improve self-compassion and sustainable self-care

Who this is for

This work is for adults who:

  • Are functioning well externally but feel internally depleted

  • Want practical, grounded strategies to manage stress and overwhelm

  • Are seeking a confidential, skilled guide to help them optimise performance and wellbeing

  • Value evidence-based approaches and personalised support

This is not for crisis intervention or acute mental health treatment. Those needing urgent support should contact their GP or local mental health services.

How I work

My work is grounded in health psychology and strongly informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

ACT is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps people develop psychological flexibility — the ability to stay present, respond intentionally under pressure, and take action aligned with what matters most, even when things feel hard.

Rather than trying to eliminate stress or uncomfortable thoughts, we work together to:

  • Build awareness of patterns that keep you stuck or depleted

  • Strengthen your capacity to respond rather than react

  • Clarify your values and use them as a steady guide for decision-making and change

Sessions are collaborative and grounded in real life. We focus on small, meaningful shifts that support calm, clarity, and sustainable change not rigid techniques or endless self-analysis.

This is not about “fixing” you.
It’s about creating space, increasing choice, and helping you live and work in ways that feel more aligned, capable, and sustainable.
